Instead of continuing to add to the same soundcloud playlist, i'm going to start making a playlist each month, and with the power of soundcloud embeds, the music contained within is now more accessable than ever!
This also gives me another huge boon: instead fo stress picking songs, i can just feature my absolute favorites, but have as long of a playlist as i want, and since it's embedded you can listen from right here!
I heard about this while i was at work and got a copy and gave a listen to it at my desk and i was hooked. not only is phosphorr a talented artist we've featured on the site a ton of times, but she's also an awesome producer too. I've listened to this ep quite a few times now. I think my favorite track is [machine angel ritual]. I love the sound design and the synth choices a lot and the song has a good sense of progression throughout. I particularly liked the parts with the breakbeat-sounding percussion because they were fun, but also made the parts without feel a lot more intense. i really really love phosphorrgirl and if you listen to the radio you absolutely will too.
This is a good ep. I been looking for something like this so i was pretty thankful when i came across it on my twitter feed. it's a little more breakcore-y than most purists would like but i find that it's a nice touch and keeps it fresh. I'm split between my favorite track being Soundboy's Shadow or Open Casket, i can't decide. Soundboy's Shadow is a lot less glitchy and has a more relaxed vibe with piano and light sampling throughout with lots of delay and reverb. Open Casket is more clenched teeth in your face, with it literally having a "shut the fuck up, shut your fucking mouth" vox. all 4 tracks are good and you should give this ep a listen
"What is my advice for young people? Die. Just die."
What a fucking intro. I goddamn love this album. My roommates hate this album. The neighbors do too. God i love this album. It's
officially my favorite album this month.
it's just fucking good. It's loud, evocative, dark and distorted to fuck. I love how fucking grating and grinding it is, it feels like
grinding something on a belt sander. i love it. i think i paid like 20 dollars for it on bandcamp or some shit. it's 100% trashwave and
the whole thing 100% hits like a ton of bricks. From start to finish. I felt like starting a fight or instigating a moshpit, but alas
im a lonely programmer girl in ehr bedroom rating music on the internet. At least i found the album im gonna be listening to while grinding away
on next month's episode
